JACKSONVILLE, FL - "Stand Your Ground" demonstrators are headed to Sanford to push lawmakers to make changes to the controversial law.

Supporters of the "Walk for Dignity" left Hemming Plaza in downtown Jacksonville Monday afternoon.

They are joining protestors in 40 states and plan to call for the resignation of State Attorney Angela Corey.

Corey was the special prosecutor in charge of the George Zimmerman trial.

The walk will culminate in a rally in Sanford Sunday.
