Authorities say a man charged in the deaths of two South Carolina women and wanted for questioning in the disappearance of a third has been caught in Florida.
Clarendon County Sheriff Randy Garrett says deputies in Bay County, Fla., captured 31-year-old Jeffery Eady in Mexico Beach after a car and foot chase Saturday evening.
He said Sunday that authorities were transporting Eady back to South Carolina on Sunday morning.
Garrett said he didn't know if Eady has asked for an attorney.
Eady is charged with murder in the deaths of 37-year-old Crystal Johnson of Adams Run and 65-year-old Maybell White, who was killed at a recycling business in Clarendon County.
Authorities say he's also wanted for questioning in the disappearance of 77-year-old Sadie Brown of New Zion.
