Single Vehicle Accident Claims Life of Marianna Woman

A Marianna woman is dead after a single-vehicle accident.

It happened at 9 pm Tuesday night on Merritt Mill Road and Dean Road in Jackson County.

A Pontiac Sunfire was being driven at a high rate of speed when it veered sharply and rotated onto the west shoulder of the roadway and into a pine tree.

The driver was ejected. Brandye Rebecca Hinton of Marianna, passed away in the accident.
