Thunderstorms moving through Southeastern Alabama, extreme Southwestern Georgia and parts of the Northern Florida have weakened slightly, but still have the risk of winds, rain, and lightning.
At 12:29am Central Time, the Weather Service in Tallahassee was tracking a large line of storms that was moving West at 40 miles per hour.
Winds of 40 to 50 miles per hour are possible with these storms, along with frequent lightning. Much of this lightning has been reported to be cloud-to-ground, so stay indoors if at all possible.
The counties where these storms are expected include Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Western Henry, Holmes, western Houston, Jackson and Northern Washington counties.
