Severe Thunderstorm Warning - Geneva County, AL & Holmes, Walton Counties, FL

A severe thunderstorm possibly producing 60mph winds is near Hacoda and Howells and will move through Geneva County in Alabama and Holmes and Walton Counties in Florida.

At 2:22am Central Daylight Time, forecasters with the National Weather Service detected a thunderstorm capable of producing winds in excess of 60 mph near Hacoda and Howells. The storm was moving 20mph and could also potentially produce nickel-sized hail.

Other communities in the path of this storm include, but are not limited to: Natural Bridge, Gaskin, Darlington, Glendale, and Leonia.

According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, this "is a dangerous storm. If you are in it's path, prepare immediately. People outside should move inside a strong building, but away from windows."

    Where is it, I need rain for my tomato's this hose water is not doing much good like rain does.It lightening and thundered this morning and didn't recieve a drop of rain. I don't want any hail-- Conner Vernon, just rain. Thank You.
