Rain Impacts Chipoa River

The Chipoa River is predicted to hit the Action Stage of 15-feet moving onto 15.2-feet at 12 a.m. on Monday, July 8.

The Jackson County Emergency Management Agency cautions those living the river’s edge to watch for further impacts as the current system continues to produce heavy rain fall amounts.

The agency urges all persons living near the rover to monitor the river as rain continues to impact Jackson County.

Further updated from the National Weather Service (NWS) in Tallahassee will be broadcast as they become available.
