The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a public information meeting concerning proposed improvements to State Road 390 from County Road 2312 (Baldwin Road) to Jenks Avenue in Bay County. The meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 12, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Emerald Coast Fellowship Church Fellowship Hall, 4102 West State Road 390, Panama City.
This meeting will offer participants an opportunity to preview proposed improvements and provide comments. Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display. There will be no formal presentation. Representatives from FDOT will be available to answer questions and explain the proposed improvements.
The intent of the project is to widen 1.8 miles of the existing roadway from two to six lanes, improve drainage, relocate utilities, add bicycle lanes and sidewalks, and other safety upgrades. The project is not funded for right-of-way acquisition or construction. The department will acquire right-of-way to construct the project.
Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
