Panama City Police Solve 5 Yr. Old Murder

After 5 years, the Panama City Police Department was able to give closure to a murder victim's family by announcing criminal charges against a suspect.

Criminal charges for murder were filed against Joseph Tyrell Duhon Thursday. He was already being held in the Bay County Jail on unrelated charges when the warrant was served.

On January 2, 2007 the Panama City Police Department was called to the 800 block of Grace Ave in reference to a homicide. A family member found the victim, Adam Bolton, and notified police. Detectives with the Panama City Police Department had been working on the case ever since.

After consulting with the State's Attorney's Office and the family of Mr. Bolton, a warrant for the arrest of Duhon was obtained.
