With a little more than 24 hours left in this legislative session, Florida lawmakers are still at an impasse over how to reform the state's auto insurance law.

All drivers are required to have personal injury protection coverage, but in recent years the cases of fraud have exploded.

Both chambers have drafted legislation to reform the system, but the bills are drastically different leaving many to conclude the House and Senate won't be able to reach an agreement.

The Senate bill includes much more than the House version, but that's not necessarily a good thing. Thursday, Governor Scott called the Senate's version 'unacceptable'.

Political insiders predict the governor will call a special session if PIP reform legislation isn't passed before midnight on Friday.
