The mother of Mia Chay Brown is starting a scholarship fund in memory of her daughter. 24-year-old Mia Chay Brown was kidnapped the night of December 16th 2010, bound with duct tape and burned alive in the trunk of her car by a 33-year-old man living in Black, Alabama. Her mother is working with a local business in Bonifay, Florida to sell memorial bracelets for five dollars each. When you buy a bracelet, you are also entered into a monthly raffle to win a gift basket from the Bead Garden. If you would like to purchase a bracelet or give a donation, you can visit the Bead Garden in Bonifay. The next drawing will be held July 8th.

I think this is a wonderful thing. Mia will not be forgotten. She is still in our thoughts and our prayers.
