South Florida drivers were greeted by a huge billboard Tuesday morning.
Supporters of legalized medical marijuana are going after the elderly vote in Florida.
Two 48-foot billboards went up this week in South Florida portraying a senior citizen in a wheelchair being offered a marijuana leaf from a godlike hand extending from the heavens.
The billboards are sponsored by "The Silver Tour," a group founded by convicted pot smuggler Robert Platshorn, released from federal prison about four years ago.
The group wants Florida to join 16 other states and D.C. that have legalized medicinal marijuana. Florida is one of 18 states considering such legislation this year.
