Marianna Man in Custody After Traffic Stop Incident

A Marianna man is in custody and facing multiple charges, after a Sunday incident.

It happened just before 10-30 a.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2012 on Marianna’s Clay Street.

Police officers pulled over a gold car on a traffic stop when the driver got out the vehicle.

After refusing to obey officer's demands to stay inside the car, the suspect, Coleman Mckinnon III pushed an officer attempting to pat him down.

McKinnon continued to resist and had to be tazed twice before being subdued.

McKinnon later threw a container from his pocket which was later found to contain crack cocaine.

He was taken into custody by Marianna police.

Coleman Mckinnon III faces multiple charges including battery on a police officer, resisting an officer with violence, tampering with physical evidence and possession of crack cocaine.
