JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Police say a 77-year-old man fell into his backyard swimming pool and drowned.
The Florida Times-Union reports fire-rescue crews and police arrived at the home around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.
A neighbor told police he saw the man doing work outside the house earlier Tuesday. Police say someone who lives in a second home on the property found the man in the pool.
Police spokesman Lonnie Mills says the man had health issues that could have contributed to the incident.
The man's name was not released.
No further details were immediately available.
