The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has charged a Crestview man with violating the Florida statute concerning an HIV-infected person having sexual intercourse with a victim without advising them of his or her positive status.

49-year old Gregory Lee Taylor of 301 John King Road was arrested May 8th. Investigators say Lee and the woman met on Facebook where Taylor was known as "Ruiss", and then later met in person at Taylor's home in March of last year. During that visit, they engaged in unprotected consensual sexual intercourse.

In a recent interview with Taylor, he admitted to investigators that he had unprotected sex in March 2011 with the latest victim and that she did need to have an HIV test conducted.

Taylor says he has known of his positive HIV status since the 2005-2006 timeframe.
