Authorities are investigating after a Palm Beach County child showed up at school with two loaded guns.
A spokesman for the school district confirmed two handguns were found in the backpack of a student at Barton Elementary School in Lake Worth on Wednesday.
The guns weren't taken out of the bag and weren't fired. Police say the weapons were apparently put in the backpack by a relative.
No word yet if charges may be filed against that person
