Much of the Wiregrass was under a Freeze Warning in the early hours of Wednesday, and another freeze could be on its way.
The first Freeze Warning for much of the area, and the state of Alabama for that matter, was for the early morning hours of Wednesday.
The next Freeze Warning, as it applies to the counties in far southeast Alabama, southwest Georgia and portions of the Florida panhandle, will be between Midnight Central and 7am Central Thursday.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service say that temperatures could fall to between 28 and 32 degrees for between 3 to 6 hours.
Frozen pipes should not be an issue in the WTVY area, but sensitive plants and pets should be brought indoors.
