Approximately 59,000 Bay County residents have prediabetes, which puts them at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Most of them don’t even know it. Could you be one of them? You can determine your risk by:

1. Having a diagnostic blood test to measure your blood sugar by a healthcare professional, or

2. Taking a risk assessment quiz like the one on the CDC web site: www.cdc.gov/diabetes/prevention.
