The Florida teen with a 3-foot spear in his skull is on the road to recovery.
The 16-year-old was shot accidentally while fishing earlier this month.
It was about one inch above his right eye straight through.
You could feel the tip under the skin on the posterior part of the skull.
Doctors say the spear missed every major blood vessel and did not hit the portion of the brain that controls speech.
A team of surgeons found a way to remove the spear.
The teen will have some trouble using the left side of his body, but is otherwise expected to make a full recovery.
