Stanley Tookie Williams Executed

Two exonerated former death row inmates want Florida Governor Rick Scott to veto the “Timely Justice Act”.

The measure would accelerate the state’s capital punishment process. Now critics fear speeding up the process because it could condemn innocent people.

Supporters say many inmates are on death row for more than 30-years.
Florida has 405-inmates on death row. They’ll stay there for about 13 years before they’re executed.
