Panama City Beach and surrounding areas in Bay County are under a Flash Flood Warning (indicated in Green) until 9am.
The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has placed Panama City Beach and nearby areas under a Flash Flood Warning until 9am.
Forecasters at the Weather Service say that a series of thunderstorms has brought several inches of rain to parts of Panama City over the past few hours.
The Bay County Emergency Management Agency reports that parts of Highway 22 in and near the Panama City area were under six to twelve inches of water.
Locations in the Warning include Panama City Beach, Panama City, Callaway, Bay Point, West Bay and surrounding areas.
