Fla. Drivers Concerned About Impact of PIP Reform

Personal injury protection coverage is required for all Florida drivers, but that coverage is about to be scaled back.

If the reform package passed in the legislature last week cuts down on fraud, auto insurance premiums could start to drop off, but many drivers say the trade-off isn't even.

Other drivers are concerned about what would happen if they're in an accident and pip runs out before their medical bills are paid. Drivers with major medical health insurance would be covered, but those with little or no insurance could be in a real bind.
