TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Democrats and groups that backed the Florida Constitution's new anti-gerrymandering standards are taking aim at the Florida Legislature's revised Senate map.

They papered the Florida Supreme Court with legal arguments and a pair of alternative maps on Tuesday.

All say the Republican-controlled Legislature's do-over still violates the Fair Districts standards voters adopted in 2010.

The Florida Democratic Party and a Fair Districts coalition filed separate maps. The coalition is made up of the League of Women Voters of Florida, National Council of La Raza and Florida Common Cause.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People also backed Fair Districts but submitted a separate legal argument. The NAACP contends two current black districts don't have enough minority voters to ensure they'll stay that way.
