JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- A Jacksonville pedestrian has died after being hit by a motorcycle.
Authorities said 44-year-old Earnest Williams was trying to cross the street when he was hit Saturday night.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Florida Times-Union (http://www.ittybittyurl.com/h0n) reports that 46-year-old motorcyclist Daniel Young and his passenger were ejected.
Florida Highway Patrol officials said they were wearing helmets.
The two were hospitalized and are listed in serious condition.
