First Tornado Warning from Beryl since landfall

4am EDT Update: Forecasters at the National Weather Service in the Tampa Bay area have allowed the warning to expire. They say that although the storm has weakened it "continues to produce gusty winds, very heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning."

The first Tornado Warning since Beryl made landfall on the U.S. East Coast has been issued.

The warning is for Southwestern Hardee, Northwestern Desoto and Eastern Manatee counties in Florida until 4am Eastern time.

According to the Tampa Bay Area National Weather Service, doppler radar indicated a Tornado near Myakka City, or 20 miles northwest of the community of Arcadia. The storm was moving east at 20 miles per hour.
