The Lynn Haven Police responded to a call of an apparent drowning at Porter Park at approximately 8:00 a.m. on 08/02/2012.
Upon arrival the body of a 14 year old boy from Geneva, Alabama was found floating about 5 feet from shore.
Family members at the scene related they all drove down from Geneva yesterday and had been fishing all night at the Bailey Bridge, some of the group went to check their crab traps and left the victim sitting at the water's edge.
When they returned a short time later they observed him floating in the water.
At this time no foul play is suspected and the Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy.
