TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Floridians have until Tuesday to seek federal disaster aid for damages caused by Tropical Storm Debby.
Federal Emergency Management Agency and Small Business Administration officials on Thursday reminded victims in 22 eligible counties of the impending deadline.
The storm caused extensive flooding across the state in late June.
Assistance offered by FEMA includes temporary housing, uninsured personal property losses as well as medical, dental and funeral expenses resulting from the storm.
The SBA provides low-interest loans for business and residential losses not covered by insurance.
