Counterfeit money leads to arrests in the Florida panhandle.
Chipley police currently have three suspects in custody for allegedly buying items with fake money. Walmart and RadioShack are the only two businesses known to have been affected by bogus bills. Police have recovered $700 to $800 worth of fake cash and they believe more is still out there. Investigators believe that Chipley isn't the only area affected by bogus bills.
If anyone suspects they were presented with counterfeit money you're asked to call the Chipley Police Department at 850-638-6310.
