ALBANY, Ga. (AP) -- Economic development officials in southwest Georgia say Outdoor Network will relocate its Internet fulfillment center from Florida to Albany, creating an estimated 112 jobs.
The Albany Herald reports that the Outdoor Network is one of the largest online suppliers of parts and accessories for marine and powersports enthusiasts.
The company operates a retail operation in Albany known as Powersports Plus, selling motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, parts and maintenance.
Martin Polo, CEO of Powersports Plus LLC, says workers at the new Albany facility will obtain customer orders and fulfill those orders for shipment throughout the world.
Polo says the company has purchased a 27,000-square-foot structure on Seminole Lane in the southwest Georgia city.
The announcement was made Monday by the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission.
