Central Florida Woman Offers Reward for Stolen Fish

CLERMONT, Fla. (AP) -- Robbers stole a central Florida woman's fish while she was out of town for New Year's. So she's offering a reward. The Orlando Sentinel reports 54-year-old Kathy Odum is offering $200 for information leading to the safe return of Patches, Pepper, Eight Ball, Big Momma and five other fish.

The koi were taken from the pond outside her Clermont home. Odom
says they were more than 8 years old. Clermont police say someone entered the yard late Saturday or early Sunday and took the pets valued at $2,000. Odom believes someone resold them to a pet store or pond stockers.

Police say this is the second koi theft they've investigated in the past six months. Anyone with information can call 1-800-423-TIPS.
