The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a transaction at a convenience store in Callaway involving counterfeit money.
Two men entered the convenience store and used a counterfeit $20 bill to make a purchase. The transaction occurred at about 11 pm on Friday, August 24, 2012. One suspect is described as a black male, in his 20’s, medium height, slim build, and wearing a dark colored t-shirt, dark pants, and a dark colored bandana on his head. This suspect was accompanied by a white male, also in his 20’s, medium height, muscular build, with a shaved head and brown goatee.
The incident was captured by store security cameras. Anyone with information on the identity of these two suspects is asked to call the Bay County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 785-TIPS.
