It has been 12 years since the tragic events of 9/11. A community-wide effort will bring together citizens, first responders, and members of our Armed Forces for a Ceremony of Remembrance.

The ceremony will begin Thursday, September 11, 2013 at 9 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the 9/11 Memorial at the Panama City Marina. The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes (see attached agenda). Panama City Mayor Greg Brudnicki will be the guest speaker.

The program will include speeches, patriotic music, and reflection honoring the lives of those who sacrificed so much.

The communitywide commemoration will conclude with the laying of wreaths in memory of those who perished in the terrorist attacks.

“We will never forget.”
