Boy Killed by Disney Bus

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - Police say a 10-year-old boy has been hit and killed by a Walt Disney World bus in Florida.

Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes says the boy was hit near the Fort Wilderness resort while riding his bicycle Thursday. He was with an 11-year-old girl, who was not hurt. Montes says both were wearing helmets.

The boy's name was not immediately released.

The patrol says 28 people were on the bus, which was operated by Disney. She says no passengers were hurt. Montes says the boy's family is from Florida but not from the area.

Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger says in a statement that the company is helping the boy's family, but she did not provide additional information about the accident.
