5K Run to Benefit Temple B'Nai Israel

Bay County — Temple B’nai Israel, the only Reform Jewish synagogue in Bay County, FL, is holding its first 5K Run for Love, Peace and Hope on Saturday, September 21, 2013 as a fundraiser.

Proceeds will support the temple’s outreach efforts and educational programs. The race will take place at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach. Advance registration is available at www.ACTIVE.com.

There will also be a Fun Walk for those who wish to progress at a more leisurely pace. Entry Fee is $25.00 for Runners, $10.00 for Walkers.

Pre-registered runners will be able to pick up their race packets at Sports Authority in Panama City after 2:00 pm on Friday September 20, 2013.

The schedule on the day of the race is:

6:00 am Same Day Registration & Check-in
8:00 am Start of Run
8:30 am Start of Fun Walk
Post-Race Refreshments & Awards

Awards will be given for runners in the following categories:

0-19 Male/Female 40-49 Male/Female
20-29 Male/Female 50-59 Male/Female
30-39 Male/Female 60+ Male/Female
