Authorities call girls' deaths accidental

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - No charges have been filed in the
deaths of twin Jacksonville girls, who drowned in retention pond
near their family's home earlier this week.

The 2-year-old girls were pronounced dead at a Jacksonville
hospital Monday, shortly after their grandfather found them in the
pond.

Authorities are calling the deaths an accident.

The girls' names haven't been released, but The Florida
Times-Union identified their mother as Tiffany Caldwell.

It isn't clear how long the girls were in the pond.

They were first reported missing at about 12:20 p.m. Monday.
