Teens charged in theft at fundraiser

NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - Police say two southwest Florida teenagers stole $350 from a cancer research fundraiser in April.

The 15-year-old and 14-year-old boys have been arrested on felony grand theft charges.

According to a police report, the cash was stolen from a Relay for Life event at Gulfview Middle School in April. Money collected at the event was supposed to benifit the American Cancer Society.

Naples police say the two teenagers used the stolen money to buy clothes, sneakers, cell phones and jewelry.
