Two sisters charged in Spring Break shooting

Two people are behind bars and charged in connection with a spring break shooting.

Sabella Davis is charged with attempted murder of 19-year old Laquanzia Bush, of Tallahassee. Amanda Davis, Sabella's sister, is charged with driving the getaway car.

Bush suffered two broken ribs and a punctured lung, and had to spend four days in intensive care. panama city beach police say the investigation wasn't easy.

"The people that were there, for some reason, just did not want to give us information, and people that said they were face to face with the shooter, but couldn't identify him. But, fortunately, we were able to find some people who could identify the shooter, got a few leads and one of them panned out," said Dave Humphreys from the Panama City Beach Police Department.

Both suspects were booked in the Jackson County Jail and will be transferred to Bay County Thursday May 7th.
