VERO BEACH, Fla. (AP) - State officials say they're reviewing
the actions of 10 employees at two Treasure Coast prisons where
children were shocked with stun guns during visits last month.
The Department of Corrections says several children, ages 8
through 14, were at the facilities April 23 for Take Your Sons and
Daughters to Work Day.
A spokeswoman says five employees at each facility were placed on paid administrative leave, and none of the children were seriously hurt.
