PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a UPS employee stole 14
packages of oxycodone pills headed for pharmacies so he could sell
them on the street.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office reports that 30-year-old John
Concannon took at total of about 104 bottles of pills from a Port
Richey UPS warehouse from June through April. UPS reported the
missing pills about three months ago, and Concannon was arrested
and charged Wednesday with trafficking in a controlled substance.
Concannon told investigators he sold the pills for $600 a
bottle, each containing 100 pills.
Authorities reported finding marijuana, steroids and
anti-anxiety pills when they searched Concannon's home.
He was being held on $50,000 bail.
