PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - A series of thunderstorms swept through
the Florida Panhandle Friday morning, causing minor home damage but
no serious injuries.
Authorities in Santa Rosa county say seven homes had minor damage, caused mostly by trees falling on roofs and car ports.
Officials throughout the Panhandle reported a few downed power lines and beach advisories were issued because of rough waters from the storms.
Bad weather was expected to continue moving through the region throughout the day.
