ORANGE CITY, Fla. (AP) - Authorities in central Florida say a
man who barricaded himself in his home and shot at a police officer
has been found dead inside along with the body of his girlfriend.

Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson told the Orlando Sentinel
that authorities first went to the home of 38-year-old Bryan
Langford on Wednesday after his ex-wife said he was acting "suicidal."

Shots were fired from the home, injuring a police officer, but
the injuries weren't life-threatening.

Later in the day, a man was found slain in the Deltona bar owned by the couple.

Police say the slaying is connected to the shooting of the officer.

By evening, authorities entered the home and found the bodies of
Langford and his girlfriend, 47-year-old Cynthia Henderson, along
with a booby trap and weapons and ammunition throughout the house.
