BURBANK, Calif. (AP) - The Walt Disney Company says it's going
green by reducing waste, pollution and use of natural resources.
In an announcement Monday, Disney CEO and president Robert A. Iger says going green will make the company more attractive to consumers.
The company has set three to five year targets to reduce emissions, waste, electricity, fuel use and to improve its impact on water and ecosystems.
Among its long-term goals, Disney wants to produce zero waste and minimize water use.
