Panama City police investigating early morning shooting

The Panama City Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours at 814 N. MacArthur Avenue at approximately 12:15 a.m.

A resident of the address, 53-year-old Carlton Robinson exchanged words with persons parked outside the residence.

Those persons later drove by the residence firing multiple shots at Robinson, striking one vehicle and the dwelling itself.

Robinson was struck by bullets several times and was transported to the Bay Medical Center Emergency Room by an acquaintance with life threatening injuries.

Anyone with information about the incident or those involved in the “Drive By Shooting” are urged to contact the Panama City Police Department at (850) 872-3112, their local law enforcement agency, or Crime Stoppers at (850) 785-TIPS.
