Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen is asking for assistance from the public in identifying a white male who approached two students as they walked home from their bus stop Friday afternoon, February 27, 2009.
The two girls were walking in a residential area when they were approached by a white male, described as approximately 60-70 years of age, 5’06”, 160lbs., with gray hair and a mole or birthmark by his left eye. The man was driving a maroon older model car, possibly a Ford or Plymouth, with a white bumper.
The man began asking for information from the girls while blocking their path so they could not get away from him.
A neighbor pulled up at that time, and the girls went with the neighbor to get away from the man.
Anyone with information on this man’s identity, is asked to contact the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and ask for Inv. Ed Langford, 747-4700 ext. 2622, or Sgt. Jeremy Mathis, 747-4700 ext. 2608.
