Straight line winds caused damage in Sneads, Florida today.

Police Chief Burt Mcalpin reports strong winds tore a path through trees about 250 yards from the Sneads Elementary School, causing damage to metal structures attached to the building.

The same winds tore a carport off a mobile home and damaged a shed.

Power lines were down in the area.

Golf-ball sized hail was also reported in New Hope in Holmes County.
