NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - Collier and Miami-Dade counties could make
some dirt bike and ATV enthusiasts happy this year.

The two counties are considering whether to turn an old airport
into an off-road vehicle park.

The property is mostly in Collier County and was originally a 13,000-foot runway. Now, it's just borrow pits, but officials think they can create 20 miles of trail or off-highway vehicles such as ATVs and dirt bikes.

Camping, fishing, improved lakes, piers and possibly an archery range could also be located on the property.
