An accident causing damage to a water main, the Panama City Beach utilities water supply line experiences a temporary loss in pressure on February 18, 2009.

Therefore, as a precaution, officials at the Panama City Beach Utilities office advise that all water used for drinking or cooking be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute will suffice. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

If you have any questions you may contact Panama City Beach Utilities at 850-233-2100 from 8 a.m. -4 p.m. Monday through Friday or after hours and weekends at: 850-233-5050.
