A shooting Friday night in the parking lot of a popular Panama City movie theater sends one man to the hospital and leaves police on the lookout for two possible suspects.
Around 7 p.m. Friday at the Carmike Cinemas on 4049 west 23rd Street. Panama City Police Officers say they got a call from Gulf Coast Medical Center that they were treating a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his stomach.
After further investigating the situation police believe the shooting during a drug deal.
Apparently a 19-year-old man and two other people drove up to the theater's parking lot.
Two black men got into the car with ease, but then after some sort of an altercation they brought out a hand gun.
The two other folks in the car were able to get away, but the 19-year-old victim could not.
Police say after hitting the young man the two black men ran off on foot.
They believe the suspects may live in the community just southeast of the cinemas.
According to the PCPD these two suspects may be in their late teens about 5'10" and 145 pounds with short hair cuts.
Apparently one is a light skinned black teen wearing a tan hoodie.
The other is a dark skinned teen with a dark hoodie.

As for the condition of the 19-year-old police say he is expected to recover.
