ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Hundreds of mourners have remembered slain
Florida toddler Caylee Anthony in a service at the First Baptist
Church of Orlando.
Caylee's grandmother told mourners, "It shouldn't take the death of a child to love our God and our fellow man."
A pastor offered a "prayer of peace" for the 2-year-old's mother, who's in jail facing a murder charge in her daughter's death. Casey Anthony has pleaded not guilty, and claims a babysitter kidnapped Caylee.
The service was broadcast live on local TV, and Casey Anthony could have asked for permission to watch it, but jail officials say she didn't. In a statement read by her attorney, she said she misses Caylee, but wished that the service hadn't been open to the public or the media.
