Panama City man arrested after bomb threat to Outback Steakhouse

The Panama City Police Department has arrested 22-year-old Matt Joseph Daigle, of Panama City on charges of one count of False Report of Planting a Bomb.

Daigle called Outback Steakhouse claiming to have planted a bomb there.

Officers of the Panama City Police Department responded to the business and arrested Daigle a short time later. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Unit assisted at the scene, where no device found.

Brown is currently in the Bay County Jail awaiting first appearance. Anyone with information in this case is asked to contact

    I work at the outback...from my understandings matt was messing with the guy in the office and he made a bad deciscion and decided to tell the guy there was a bomb in the safe...there of course wasnt but he never called back and said it was a joke now he is going to probably have to go to jail for a long time over a practical joke gone bad....
