Bradenton man attacks girlfriend, threatens to set her on fire -

BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a Bradenton man splashed
urine in his girlfriend's face, threw eggs at her and threatened to
set her on fire.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports that 49-year-old
James E. Farrell attacked his girlfriend on Saturday. After hitting
the woman with the urine and eggs, deputies say he sprayed lighter
fluid all over her and held burning paper near her skin.

The victim did not suffer any serious physical injuries.

Farrell was charged with aggravated assault and battery. He was
later released on $30,000 bail.
